The restaurant is excellent and roomy, the food was yummy and the prices were very fair. quickly, effective service and very attentive waiters. Highly recommended.

This is a great spot for some casual Israeli food, although the prices are high and the food quality is pretty good. I will say that they are not very flexible with their side dishes and appetizers for instance: If I want truffle fries instead of regular fries, I can't replace them, I would have to order an appetizer of truffle fries which costs almost as much as an entree. This to me is ridiculous. Otherwise the burekas are great and the service is okay. Unfortunately on many occasions we have been left without water and had to request it many times (even after being asked for a drink and saying water please) until we got our ice cold, delicious water. The experience isn't unique but the location is convenient. Convenient, pretty good quality Israeli cuisine.

I've been to Grand Cafe several times and the place is always understaffed and the service is terrible. It's really unfortunate because the food is really good and I like the atmosphere, but you can spend 30 minutes just trying to get the attention of a server to put in your order. Forget about drink refills or being checked on. Expect to wait another 20 minutes + just to pay your bill.
